Contentment

Lately, I've been struggling with being content. I know that it's an attack, but I can't help but wonder "if only". This way of thinking sends my mind into the "er" syndrome, you know the one- newer, faster, better, prettier, etc... It all sounds so good to me. And then of course there's another, which I'm having a hard time squelching it's powerful pull. The problem with all this is that I feel like a child demanding from the inside, and when the grown- up (also inside) says, "no", I erupt, having a bad attitude or snapping at whomever is there at the time.
Reminding myself daily to;
"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." Hebrews 13:5
