Chicago Bound

well, most of you who are reading this know that it has been my dream for some time to run a marathon. this sunday is the big day! i cannot believe that i am actually going to do it. as some of you recall, in May i was told to take an 8 week break from running (due to a stress fracture and tendonitis in my right ankle), of course this leaves me with no time to ramp up milage properly, thus it's like i've never trained to begin with. i have toyed with the idea of running half- walking the rest or breaking it up with run a mile- walk the next (repeat for 26.2). tom and i will be leaving on saturday morning. i will keep everyone posted.
