It seems as if we go through our whole lives learning to conform, striving to become "that girl", to look and act a certain way, to "keep up with the Jones'", to be "tolerent", to be politically correct when speaking, to be "non- partisan".
As Christians, we are called to "live a life that is pleaseing to the Lord". That means Him only, not your neighbor, boss, sister in-law, etc...
Why are those words so hard for us to understand and why do we want so badly to blend in with the rest of the world?
Paul writes in Romans 12:2, "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
I challenge you to be different today, for God. So that you may take a step toward standing out. All for the glory of the Lord.
