We Have a Heartbeat
It's (more) official! We heard the heartbeat this morning. It was really exciting. I've also lost weight, which would have been nice to hear given different circumstances, but was probably from being sick. Anyways, I am now on medicine that gets rid of nausea, but makes you incredibly sleepy, which is better that being sick. The heart rate of our little one was about 160 bpm, which is very "strong" according to the CNM. I'm just praying for healthy, whole, & happy.

Just hearing that amazing and steady little beat from within me made me cry. Enjoy these precious times with your very little one. Once they are on the outside, all you'll hear at first are the cries and eventually the coos and giggles.
