Today will be an unprecedented day, today Obama will launch a HUGE push for you as Americans to accept the new Health Care reform and ask for the both the Senate and House Bill to be reconciled. The catch is that he, Biden, and Pelosi want to use only the Senate's language promising that all the discrepancies will be ironed out at a later date. It's a 6 hour T.V. marathon that I'm sure will be scintillating.
What is the problem you say?
The Senate Bill has NO language or amendments that would prohibit federal funding for abortions. It would give at least 7 Billion to Community Health Centers and have NO stipulation on the use of those dollars. The sanctity of life line would be blurred on both ends, the unborn as well as the elderly. And the current laws that protect the unborn, elderly, medical professionals who will not perform abortions would be wiped out.
So to all the Democrat Pro-Lifers who are under extreme pressure to cave to their party...
Dear Pro-Life Democrat Senators and Congressman,
Please stand firm in NOT supporting the Health Care Bill with the current language that makes it o.k. to use federal funds for abortions that blurs the line for assisted suicides and no conscience clauses. Please continue to hold fast in your stand to protect the sanctity of life.
Be encouraged! You are doing the right thing.
