...I really appreciate you all asking me if there is anything you can do for my family or me.
I do have something, could you pray for me? Specifically that I would have opportunities and God would give me the words to say to share Jesus with my cousins, aunts, etc...
More to the story... my Uncle was hit by a young driver who was speeding. There is still an investigation, but it looks like the kid lost control of his car or had been under the influence.
Please, pray that this young guy, if he is not a believer already, would become one. That this tragedy would produce something wonderful... like forgiveness and eternal life- that only God can provide.
Even more... my Grandmother, who had been admitted to the hospital prior to this, is not responding to the surgeries. She had one yesterday and they had to take her back in today for more surgery. This is all compounding the bad news she received on Thursday. Please pray for her, that if it's God's plan she'd pull through. Again, God makes sad, hard things into beautiful things.
These things are depressing and hard, but if you think about us, please pray for us that we'd be lights for Jesus, That our attitudes and actions would be loving and giving and completely different. So that we'd have opportunities to share the MOST wonderful gift of Christ with our family.

Amen and amen! My own testimony is that of taking something sad and tragic and making into something beautiful (aren't all of ours???). Beauty for ashes! I will pray, dear Jenn!
